Eligibility
 
To sell your car through Buy My Car, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Be the legal owner of the vehicle or have legal authorization to sell it.

• Provide accurate and truthful information about the vehicle, including its condition, mileage, and ownership status.
   

Vehicle Valuation
 
Our online valuation tool provides an estimated offer based on the information you provide.
This valuation is not a guaranteed purchase price and may change after an in-person inspection that verifies your vehicle’s condition, history, and market value.
 
 Vehicle Inspection and Final Offer
 
Before finalizing a sale, our team will conduct a physical inspection of the vehicle.
After inspection, a final offer will be presented based on:

• Actual condition and mileage

• Service history and ownership records

• Accident or damage reports

• Market demand and resale value

You are under no obligation to accept the offer.
 
Vehicles on Finance

If your vehicle has outstanding finance, you must disclose this before the sale.
We may offer to settle the finance directly with your lender. If the car’s value exceeds the remaining loan balance, you will receive the difference. If the balance is higher than the offer, you must pay the remaining amount before the sale can be completed.

Required Documentation

To sell your vehicle, you must provide:

• Valid government-issued photo ID

• Vehicle Title (Certificate of Ownership) or finance agreement details

• Registration and proof of insurance (if applicable)

Failure to provide accurate documentation may delay or cancel the transaction.

Payment

Once all paperwork is complete and ownership has been verified, payment will be made via bank transfer, company check, or another agreed-upon method.
We aim to process payments within 24 hours of the completed sale.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided about your vehicle is true and accurate.
Providing false or misleading information may result in the cancellation of your offer or legal action.

Liability

Buy My Car will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the sale of your vehicle or use of our website and services.
We do not guarantee the resale price or market performance of any vehicle sold to us.

Privacy

All personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and U.S. data protection laws.
We only use your information for legitimate business purposes such as valuation, communication, and payment processing.

Amendments

Buy My Car reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be handled in the courts located in South Carolina.
